My original concert review:

though my seats were absolutely awful, and there were MANY rude people around me (two of which had to be removed, but only after a huge fight with security), she put on an AMAZING set list, and seemed to be in very good spirits! her performance was spectacular...and some of those songs *sigh*...

1. Wampum Prayer...once again, still a great intro, but i wish she'd do it live...

2. a sorta fairytale...still don't think it translates well to the stage, but it was better than riverside's performance of it, her vocals were definitely more on key...

3. In The Springtime Of His Voodoo...very funky...i think i wanna say it's very bluesy...i really liked this one...

4. Bliss...still a great performance, but didn't need to see it again after Riverside...

5. Amber Waves...i liked the intro to this one...tho she did it at riverside two days before, i didn't mind seeing it again as it's one of the new songs and i haven't seen them live a lot (obviously )

6. Cornflake Girl...great as always, but it was here that i was really beginning to wish she would have changed the set list up a bit more from riverside, and the other shows for that matter...

7. Pancake...couldn't enjoy this one because of a ridiculous fight between some drunks and security...

8. Crucify...once again, wishing she'd change it up...the verses are still a bit slow, but that ending still rocks...

9. Wednesday...i don't think i could EVER get sick of this one, even if she did it over and over twenty-something times and played nothing else...sooo good!

10. Doughnut Song...it was really great to hear this one! a very nice performance!

11.Gold Dust...OH MY GOD! i wish i was closer so i could have seen her face clearly for this one, but wow, it was absolutely gorgeous!

12. River....i know that she's done this Joni Mitchell cover before, but I've never heard her do this one...it was also breath-taking!

(band back)

13. Wheels on the bus...someone screamed out for this one, and at first she was like "um, i don't think so" (or something to that effect) and then she was like, "you know what? ok!" and she did like five verses of it...the band joined in on the fun as well...it was hysterical!

14. Your Cloud...this is one of the songs on the album that i don't really like, but i thought it sounded great live! i love how she did both the main vocals and the backing vocals...she did "stay right here..." first, and then "if there is a horizontal line" part...i think the live version is helping me like the album version more...

15. Concertina....thought this was well done...

16. Sugar...this is my third flavorite song....but i'm sorry, she does it TOO much...i mean she did it very well, but she really needs to start changing it up more...

17. Taxi Ride...now THIS is what i am talking about! i must admit i was getting worried i wouldn't see this one...but yay! she did it! i had a feeling she would after she debuted it at the new york dvd taping...it was a bit shaky, but i thought it was quite good...i'm just SO happy i got to see this one...it's my flavorite on the album...now she's just gotta do a solo version, and i'd be set...

18. Take To The Sky...i'm really getting into this extended version...i think it's quite enjoyable...

19. I Can't See New York....still sounding great! the band and her have such chemistry!

20. Spring Haze...nicely done, but i've seen it a few times, and i definitely could have done without it...

1st Encore
21. Black Swan...before she started the song, she just said something like "we've never done this before, and because we like you, we'll rehearse in front of you..." then she went into this one, and even tho this one was technically with the band, they did not have much of a part...their parts were very laid back, very minimal...and at one point she stopped the song and was like "guys, we have to slow this down," and then they hardly played at all for the rest of the song...nevertheless, it was so beautiful and such a treat to see this rarity...

22. Black-Dove (January)...another one of the night's highlights...very well done, tho i must admit i miss the guitar on this one...

23. Sweet Sangria...a great song recorded, a great song live! and that ending! *sigh*

2nd Encore
24. Putting The Damage On...wow! i was so happy to hear this one! i love it with the band, but she didn't do the twilight version like she did during the Plugged 98 tour...the "take it high..." part was done like it is on the album, instead of like the mix like she did in 98...however, it was still so good...

25. Tear In Your Hand...a great ending to an amazing show...

overall, it was a spectacular setlist and a high energy performance...too bad my seats sucked and the people around me blew...but at least i can say i was there
